Marina de la Torre |

| Our apartment is set on a new development cut into the hillside overlooking the local golf course and out to sea. It is approximately an 800 metre walk down to the wide expanse of beach that spreads out in one direction toward Garrucha and in the other towards Mojacar Playa. The area boasts several Blue Flag beaches where even in high season you can find yourself a space to relax and enjoy the sun or take a dip in the clear blue sea. |
| Garrucha |
| The bustling fishing village of Garrucha is approximately a 2 kilometre stroll along the beach. For the less energetic the bus service is cheap, clean and reliable and will take you right into town. If you prefer to take the car there is plenty of free parking. Garrucha is renowned for its fine seafood restaurants with a wide variety of locally caught fish on offer where they take great pride in the prepearing your chosen dish in traditional style. The Garrucha prawns are highly recomended and should not be missed. |

| Mojacar |
| The Moorish town of Mojacar is set in the foothills of the Sierra Cabrera and is a maze of twisting streets full of shops, bars and restaurants. The village square has wonderful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and is a popular venue for local entertainment. |

| Mojacar Playa |
| This is the lower level beach area of Mojacar, where you can sample a wide variety of restaurants catering for every taste with a mixture of Spanish, Chinese, Indian, Italian, English and Mexican cuisine. There are also nightclubs, bars and karaoke to entertain you. |

| Vera |
| This is a traditional Spanish looking town that holds the main market of the area every Saturday. The market itself is well worth a visit and you should be able to pick up a bargain or two at any of the numerous stalls that seem to go on for miles down the narrow streets. The men of the town seem to have the right idea of sitting around the square talking while the women get on with the shopping. |

| Vera Playa |
| The coastal area of Vera has many fine sandy beaches. The nearby Aqua Park with its many water shoots and pools is a guaranteed fun day out for the family. One of the beach areas and the adjoining complexes are set aside for nudism for that all over tan! |
